The Treasurer presents the financial status of the organization. The scope of the Treasurer's report depends on the type of meeting.
In a Board of Directors meeting, the Treasurer may make a fairly detailed report. Such a report must include all issues that require reporting to the board. It should also include any details which will support following items of discussion on the agenda.
In a mass meeting, the Treasurer report should be abbreviated to a high-level overview.
In an annual meeting, the Treasurer would summarize activity for the year and annual financial results.
The Treasurer may and should take questions about the report. However, any debate on actions should be saved for later. If an item is not already on the agenda, then it should be amended to be included.
It is not necessary for the meeting body to accept the Treasurer Report. The Treasurer returns the meeting to the chair upon completion.
